The fourth bedroom is painted! I have the curtain hardware back up & the curtains hung (and knotted so they don't touch the floor). We have to get some tiebacks at some point. I've vacuumed and soon I'll clean the carpet. Then a bit later today we'll move the furniture in and I'll hang up some pictures & other wall art.

Tony and I and Roscoe the dog took a lovely long walk this morning. We were gone almost an hour. I took some pictures. We found a very chilly toad down by the river that was more than happy to sit in my pocket for a few moments to get warmed up. Then I put him down and he hopped off.

I am making chicken stock out of last night's chicken carcass. It will go in the freezer to become homemade chicken soup later this week. Tonight's dinner is in the crock pot - a roast that is going to become pulled pork bbq. We need to pick up some buns.

It's been a great day.

I've been married to the greatest Australian in Rockton for 10 months now. ;-) It seems like yesterday and 40 years ago, all at the same time. It's a nice feeling. I'm very happy.
